Can you plug an electric guitar to the microphone jack of your computer and record what you play?
If you have a 3.5 adapter mm plug your guitar into your microphone jack on your computer, you can record your guitar into a program like this? Or did he not be enough power to pick up a guitar signal?
Howdy, Seiko – Yeah, you can certainly record that way. However, keep in mind that Jimmy mentioned, plug directly into your sound card will give your guitar a bit more of a sounding bullshit to register your own. Through your amp, winner / Distorting your tone, then plug into your sound card can be done, but make sure your amp OUT can be adjusted via volume knob, like most amps, especially all the tubes will generate output quite efficiently fry your sound card. I got the best results of any of the other these two scenarios. (1) Connect my guitar pedal in my setup (Boss Metal Zone and a host of others whose effective noise gate), and then plug directly into the sound card and monitor yourself with a professional-quality headphones, keeping the window of your sound card volume control to open and adjust if necessary. (2) If I just need a straight-up distorted voice throughout, I plug into an amp without distortion modeler amp / pedal which automatically adjusts the amount of gain from leaving the facility and actually gives you an entry WAVELINE flat, so you do not have to worry about your kitchen sound card, simply adjust the amount of production going again through the window of your volume. sound card to give you a sample of this which can effectively be used to record, verify the documents of my group at URL below. All tracks of guitar and bass were recorded using Cakewalk software and using the original approach to guitar effects chain to the sound card. If you are interested in details, leave me a message and I can send you some pictures of how I set up the equipment that I use pedals, tuning knobs, etc. Best of luck!
