6 & 12 String Guitar $9.96 For decades, Leo Kottke would inspire generations of fingerpicking acoustic guitarists (and help pave the way for New Age and contemporary instrumental music), but this 1969 album is the one that started it all. Kottke’s brilliant debut was released, fittingly, on John Fahey’s Takoma label. Showing the influence of Fahey himself (and Takoma labelmate Robbie Basho), Kottke performs impossibly diffi… |

where can I get a quality electric / bass guitar left handed acustic?
I am seeking a contry / groop bluegrass and my bass does not fit the bill; (
I'm a lefty and I play a Seagull acoustic SG-6 and G & L Legacy 2HB Electric, which is essentially a Fender Stratocaster. Gulls are manufactured in Canada and have a sound reminiscent of Martins for a good, much lower price (I paid under $ 500 for mine). G & L is the company founded by George Fullerton and Leo Fender sold Fender Guitars after in the 70s. Until recently, all G & L guitars are handmade in their violin in southern California, but now they have a line built in Japan. I have one Tailor-made that was made in California that I had for $ 1,500 at the door (hardshell case included), which is what you can start to build Fender Stratocaster U.S. factory, price wise. A hand-built Fender is at least twice what I paid for my G & L. List of all brands of guitars on harmonycentral.com (Click here for more information to compare brands: http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/guitarman.html) and see what real say on the various brands. Seagull and the two G & L manufacture quality products lefty (and G & L did not even charge extra for a custom lefty instead of a right-handed!) and rave reviews on this site. Good luck. It's tough being a lefty in a right-handed world. The great thing Left is about playing, nobody can borrow my guitar. The only thing that sucks is, I can not borrow someone else's guitar!
